Harry love

This is the excerpt of your first post template…

Deadball have a loving tribute to NZ Cricket’s much maligned, but much worshipped Chris Zinzan Harris:

I guess what I’m trying to get to here is that Chris Harris actually needed New Zealand to be the wretched team they were in order to scrawl his legendary, indelible signature across the autograph book of cricket history*. (yes I know this is a lame metaphor, but hell this is sports writing right, this shit’s pretty much obligatory).

  1. Shucks thanks Richard, very kind words. The Harry piece is a corker aye, James Milne, who wrote the piece, is also known as Lawrence Arabia, and puts out great pop records too. So anyone who enjoyed the piece should maybe check them out.
Also the Super Dobbers cartoon is too good. Makes me depressed that they’re not still in the team. It’s not like you get any less effective at bowling 70mph as you get older. you probably even get better. We should just admit we were wrong and re-hire them all.
