We defended with our lives but couldn't hold or pass the ball to save ourselves (very reminiscent of my team at school in 6th form acutally). We did fantastically well considering our limitations (see midfield) but going any further wouldn't have been deserved. Piss off you cocks, I enjoy both sports - makes it hard for a lot of people. Though I have noticed a resurgent optimism among fans of this year's All Blacks. I sometimes think that Mssrs Hinton and Rattue may have dug too deep a hole with their 'rugby is shit, our team is useless, the coaches should be executed, the players are money-grabbing little assholes' angles for a World Cup to restore any of that old positivity.
